Friends

Friends are not just the people that we come across and physically meet, but also people that we meet and get to know through various internet sites. I have just a few people whom I have had the pleasure to meet and call friends, yet many that I have only met online and call friends.

All of my friends, whether online or in person, all mean a lot to me. It's like having a giant extended family that you get to choose, especially since we cannot choose our own family. They are all very close to my heart and there is nothing that I wouldn't do for any of them.

My closest and best friend and I have known each other since we were five years old, and even though we may not speak to each other as often as we would like, we can still finish each others sentences. We think alike and we can tell when something is wrong without talking.

My “invisi” friends are a very wonderful bunch of people as well. There have been numerous times that I have been a little sad, and next thing I know there’s a little card in the mail that just says “I’m thinking of you. I hope that all is well.” Those little things can make anyone feel better. I’ve even had one of them call me just to make sure that all was okay, just because I hadn’t been online and chatted in a week. I do the same for them as well.

This reminds me, I have some ecards that are in need of sending for all of my friends!
